Tap the Scan button on the home screen, then take a photo of your fridge, pantry, or ingredients on your counter. Our AI will automatically identify the ingredients and suggest recipes you can make with them.

FridgeChef is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. You can change your language in Profile > Settings > Language. Recipes will be generated in your selected language.

You can scan ingredients and get recipes without an account. However, creating a free account allows you to save recipes, sync across devices, and access your scan history.

For best results: ensure good lighting, keep ingredients visible and not overlapping, take photos from a straight angle, and make sure labels are readable. After scanning, you can edit the detected ingredients before generating recipes.

Yes! After scanning, you'll see a list of detected ingredients. Tap "Edit Ingredients" to add items the AI missed or remove items you don't want to use in recipes.

When viewing a recipe, tap the heart icon to save it to your collection. Saved recipes appear on your home screen and can be accessed anytime, even offline.

Nutritional information (calories, protein, carbs, fat) is AI-estimated based on typical ingredient amounts. These are approximations and may vary based on actual portion sizes and specific ingredients used.

Premium includes: 9 dietary filters (vegan, keto, gluten-free, etc.), meal planning with shopping lists, pantry tracker, cooking mode with timers, nutritional information, Thermomix integration, unlimited scans, and an ad-free experience.

FridgeChef Premium is $4.99 per month. Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period.

On iOS: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > FridgeChef > Cancel. On Android: Open Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > FridgeChef > Cancel. You'll keep Premium access until the end of your billing period.

Refunds are processed through Apple or Google, not directly through FridgeChef. For iOS, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Android, contact Google Play Support. We're unable to process refunds directly.

Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase. Go to Profile > Unlock Premium > Restore Purchase. Your subscription will be restored automatically.

This is a Premium feature. Go to Profile > Thermomix Integration > Connect Account. Enter your Cookidoo email, password, and select your region. Once connected, you can send recipes directly to your Thermomix TM6.

FridgeChef works with Thermomix TM6 through the Cookidoo platform. TM5 with Cook-Key may have limited functionality. Earlier models are not supported for direct recipe transfer.

Yes, your Cookidoo credentials are encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption and stored securely on our servers. We never share your credentials with third parties and only use them to sync recipes with your Thermomix.

Go to Profile > Settings > Clear All Data to remove all your local data including saved recipes and preferences. To fully delete your account, contact us at support@fridgechef.cooking.

Photos are sent to our AI for ingredient analysis and are immediately discarded after processing. We do not store your photos on our servers or use them for training AI models.

You can view your saved recipes offline. However, scanning ingredients and generating new recipes requires an internet connection as these features use AI processing.
